Last night in Milocer was a truly remarkable event. It began with a student presentation on foods of America.
There were approximately 25 guests at the event including the United States Ambassador to Montenegro, Margaret Uyehara and her husband Mike. The setting was festive, a good place to share wonderful food and, as it is said in southern Louisiana, "...pass a good time."
The food began to arrive. Here are images of a stuffed mushroom hors d' oeuvre based on a recipe by Julia Child, and crab meat beignets. The beignets reflected both a taste of New Orleans, and a popular Montenegrin food, priganice.
We sat at the same table as the Ambassador and her husband, as well as Anita Mitrovic Milic, one of the owners of the hotel and education center.
Here is the team that collaborated to create a memorable experience.
There we were, at the end of a wonderful evening.
