We are into the Easter season for both Orthodox Christians and Roman Catholics. I walked most of the was to mass and rode in a taxi the rest of the way with Susan. We celebrated mass at the Cathedral of Sveti Tryphon.
The harbor pilot was returning home.
There is an interesting display adjacent to the altar. It is a large egg with different images associated with both the Resurrection and Kotor. The plaque at its base indicates that it was funded in 2014.
Above the altar is a banner with an image of Sveti Tryphon, the patron saint of Kotor.

I am a university professor with interests in the relationship of food and culture. I am also a Fulbright Scholar and will deploy to Montenegro in September, 2014 where I will collaborate in teaching and learning about food and culture as well as food tourism. This blog is dedicated to sharing my experiences in Montenegro with you. It is also dedicated to my son Chad who mixes artistry and savvy in teaching people how to bake bread and make pizza.
