Aside from differences in types of coffee, Susan and I also have experienced difference in service. Portions are small in comparison to those in America. It is impossible to obtain portions described by American coffee purveyors with terms such as tall and grande. Disposable containers are nonexistent. With a few exceptions, you never see people walking and drinking beverages. They are always sitting down at tables.
Tomorrow, I plan to tackle the matter of ordering a hamburger in Kotor. I have already visited a cafe specializing in "fast food," and I want to return in order to confirm that what I purchased was as good as it seemed. Ah, the travails of a gastronomic traveler!
